  Defending state champion, #1 ranked and undefeated Appalachia will try to avoid 
being bit at the Bullitt as they take on 3rd ranked and undefeated Powell Valley.  
Both teams have won 2 of the last 3 state titles in their respective Division. 
Appy won last year's contest 44-34.  But it was a different story this time around, 
as Powell Valley uses their home field advantage to eek out a 20-14 win over Appy 
in a game that was decided in the final minute.
